Have you ever fought so hard against something, only to realize you were fighting the wrong battle? Saul was a man driven by hatred and zeal, believing he was defending God by persecuting Christians. He imprisoned, tortured, and even approved of the execution of those who followed Jesus. But no matter how fiercely he fought, the Gospel continued to spread. God was at work, even in the face of Saul’s rage. Isn’t it amazing that while Saul was chasing down Christians, Jesus was pursuing him?
