Galatians 2:20
Have you ever longed for acceptance but were met with fear or rejection? Saul knew this feeling well. After his dramatic conversion, he returned to Jerusalem, hoping to join the Christian community. Yet, the believers were afraid of him, remembering his past as a persecutor. Rejected by those he sought to join and faced with threats against his life, Saul could have easily lost hope. But in this difficult time, Barnabas stepped in, vouching for Saul’s transformation and offering him friendship and support. With Barnabas by his side, Saul began to understand his mission more clearly—to spread the gospel boldly, no matter the obstacles. What do you do when you face rejection or misunderstanding? God often provides unexpected allies, like Barnabas, to help us along our journey. Remember that your calling is not diminished by rejection; it’s refined through it.
