Matthew 5:6
Have you ever felt like certain people or situations were beyond God’s reach? Peter once believed that God’s blessings were primarily for the Jewish people, but God had bigger plans. In a vision, Peter was shown that what God calls clean should not be considered unclean. This prepared him to meet Cornelius, a Roman centurion who was eager to hear the gospel. As Peter shared the good news, the Holy Spirit filled Cornelius and his household, confirming that God’s grace is for all. What old beliefs or judgments might you need to let go of to fully embrace God's love for all people? This story reminds us that no one is outside the reach of God’s grace. When we let go of our preconceived ideas, we open ourselves up to witnessing God's incredible work in the lives of others.
