Matthew 5:10
Have you ever felt trapped by life’s circumstances? In the story of Peter’s imprisonment, we see that no matter how strong the chains or how tight the prison walls, God’s deliverance can break through. King Herod thought he could stop the Gospel by persecuting James and imprisoning Peter. While James was martyred, God had a different plan for Peter—one of miraculous rescue. As the church prayed without ceasing, God sent an angel to free Peter, showing that even in persecution, His plans cannot be thwarted. What chains are you facing in your life today? Do you trust God to deliver you in His perfect timing? Reflect on the power of prayer and God’s sovereignty in your life’s battles.
