Hebrews 4:15
Have you ever faced a temptation that seemed impossible to resist? Jesus’ time in the wilderness shows us that even He, the Son of God, was not immune to trials. Satan approached Jesus after 40 days of fasting, when He was physically vulnerable, offering Him food, power, and an escape from His suffering. But instead of giving in, Jesus turned to God’s Word for strength and guidance. How often do we try to face life’s challenges in our own strength instead of turning to God’s truth? Jesus shows us that trusting God’s promises is the key to overcoming temptation. What temptation are you facing today that requires God’s strength? How can you rely on Scripture in your daily struggles? Like Jesus, we, too, can stand firm in the face of the enemy when we stay grounded in God’s Word.
